Chapter 2 – Hypnosis System
For some unknown reason, the wish Herman made before dying actually came true, and something as absurd as transmigrating into an anime world, with a Hypnosis System no less, happened to him.
Out of everything that came true of his wish, the system was what excited him the most, so it naturally became the first thing he wanted to check out.
According to the information he received during memory synchronization, the system had been formed from a Primordial Source Fragment in his soul after death, shaped directly by his final wish.
As for what a Primordial Source Fragment actually was, or how it ended up inside his soul, Herman had no idea.
He also knew he wouldn't be getting answers anytime soon, so he chose not to waste time dwelling on it.
Thankfully, the system itself was a non-living thing and was more like a program with fixed rules and no independent will of its own.
Moreover, because it had been created according to Herman's wish, many of its functions were supplemented by his memories of the novels he had read in his previous life.
As a result, its operating rules closely resembled those systems from those novels, and that included the two magical words.
"Status Window."
Ding!
With a gentle 'ding' sound in his head, a translucent blue panel appeared directly in front of his eyes, hovering in the air as if it wasn't a part of the world at all.

————————————————
Coincidentally, or perhaps fortunately, although his surname was different in this life, his first name was still Herman.
Not to mention, he was younger now, having only recently turned eighteen a few days ago, and because of his Quirk and the regular exercise that this body had gone through before his transmigration, even his Physique already surpassed the peak of an ordinary adult male.
Normally, physical stats would be divided into strength, agility, constitution, and other categories.
However, because the system had semi-digitized his body, those values were merged into a single Physique stat, resulting in balanced development with no obvious weaknesses.
As for his Spirit stat, which was almost double the peak of an ordinary adult, Herman connected it to his transmigration itself.
Like those novel protagonists, perhaps, living a second life had tempered his already strong will.
Overall, he was quite satisfied with his stats.
Subsequently, his attention moved to the Skills and Quirk sections, and without hesitation, Herman focused on the lone skill listed there.
Hypnosis.
The core ability of the Hypnosis System, and the power he desired most.
As he selected it, a new translucent blue panel appeared before his eyes.
—— [Skill: Hypnosis (Level 1)] ——
➤ Hypnosis Level 1 allows the user to implant simple commands as subconscious suggestions into the target's mind through eye contact and intent, subtly influencing the target's thoughts and emotions without disrupting awareness.
➤ At Level 1, the effect works reliably only on targets whose Spirit stat is significantly lower than the user's.
➤ As the target's Spirit increases, both the strength and duration of the effect decrease.
➤ The influence of Level 1 Hypnosis is temporary and unstable, and it requires continuous reinforcement for the suggestion to persist and be accepted by the target's mind as natural.

'Sweet!'
Although Herman couldn't do something drastic with hypnosis yet, such as completely changing cognition, one had to remember that this was only hypnosis at level 1.
What about when it reached Level 10, Level 100, or above 9000?!
Once he leveled it up enough, he had no doubt it would absolutely be a broken skill.
'Perhaps, one day, I might even be able to hypnotize the world, or even the whole universe, and become a True God.'
As for how to level up Hypnosis, that was a talk for the last. Before that, he focused on the Quirk section, where the Transformation Quirk he inherited from this body was.
—— [Quirk: Transformation] ——
➤ Allows the user to freely transform their physical body, be it a full-body transformation or a partial transformation.
➤ The user can also replicate the appearance and voice of any individual he has made physical contact with.
➤ The Quirk can register the traits of only one individual at a time. To transform into someone without direct contact, the user must rely on personal memory and familiarity, which can result in reduced accuracy.
➤ Transformations can partially defy biological and material constraints when sufficient biological energy is supplied. Greater deviation from normal limits requires further evolution of the Quirk.

'Damn!'
A perfect appearance-changing ability. What more could an international spy ask for?
No one understood better than Herman just how dangerous this quirk truly could be in his hands. At this moment, he had to admit that he was even more excited about Transformation than Hypnosis Level 1.
One had to understand that in the MHA world, Transformation was an entire category of Quirks, not a single Quirk.
And yet, the name given by the system to his Quirk was Transformation.
At first, Herman thought the system had done so out of convenience. After all, according to the memories of this body, the previous owner had called this Quirk Appearance Modification.
The name wasn't wrong. But looking at the system panel, Herman could tell that Appearance Modification was far too narrow, completely ignoring the quirk's true functions and potential.
But it was understandable.
The previous owner was a hot-blooded teenager with an obsession over good looks and no deep knowledge of Quirks.
His obsession was the reason he exercised so often and maintained such a well-built body.
On the flip side, it also narrowed his judgment. After discovering one or two decent applications of the Quirk, he never bothered to study it any further.
But now, based on the system's explanations and the inherited memories, Herman understood that this was not a low-tier appearance-changing ability at all.
It was a high-tier Transformation Quirk that incorporated elements from multiple quirks he remembered from canon, like Himiko Toga's disguise-type transformation, Mount Lady's physical expansion, and many more.
With sufficient energy resources, the Transformation Quirk could even be used as a regeneration quirk.
'And since the quirk can evolve, the possibilities are simply countless.'
Realizing this, Herman grew even more excited. But he quickly calmed himself and shifted his attention to the final three sections on the Status Window: Storage Space, Shopping Mall, and System Points.
There wasn't much to say about Storage Space. It was a twenty-eight cubic meter space with a time-stop feature available for stuff that the user didn't want to deteriorate inside.
Plus, the space could even expand alongside his Spirit stat.
As for the Shopping Mall and System Points....
System Points were not only the currency for the System Mall, which contained an endless number of items, from Quirks like One For All to even a one-time World Travel Ticket, but were also the key to upgrading the Hypnosis skill.
And to obtain System Points was simple:
'Fuck these anime bitches and make them mine.'
Of course, ordinary females, even those with Quirks, could only provide single-digit System Points at max.
To actually earn a substantial amount of System Points, he had to fuck and conquer female characters with significant weight in the original MHA storyline.
But there was one exception to this rule, and that was adult females who shared a direct blood relationship with him, such as his mother, sister, and future daughters.
Speaking of blood relationships, in this life, Herman was the son of a wealthy businessman who was usually out of the country due to work.
His mother was a housewife, while his elder sister was a Hero stationed in the United States of America.
As the youngest in the family, with two major earners supporting the household, Herman lived a life of luxury with his mother in her hometown.
A rich second-generation heir with too much pocket money, freedom, and barely any supervision. Not to mention the System and future knowledge of the world.
It was already a near-perfect restart for Herman.
Not only did he not have to deal with unnecessary hassles, but this background also meant he could do many things without worrying about funds or background checks.
"Looks like moving to Japan will be quite easy this way."
After all, to conquer those bitches from the anime, he had to move to Japan.
Fortunately, in this world, individuals had to be over eighteen to enroll in Hero Academies, and the same rule applied to U.A. High School.
This was also the reason the previous owner of the body never attended a Hero Academy, and his knowledge about Quirks was so shallow.
But now, because of this rule, Herman could easily enroll in U.A. in Japan.
At first, the difference seemed odd, but when he thought about it carefully, it made sense.
This was the real world, after all, where morals, ethics, and laws actually mattered, unlike in the anime, where teenagers were pushed straight into fighting villains on the frontlines.
"Wait… with such a change, will this world still follow the original plot?"
